It has come to my attention that for some strange, unexplainable reason, people cannot leave comments on my blog. I’ve check my settings and everything else I can think of to find the problem. Unfortunately, I still can’t figure it out. (I may have to find another blog site…I can’t have people not being able to comment.)
Now for an update.
Last Thursday, Sir Computer Extraordinaire had a job interview. He felt like he knocked it out of the water. He was also told that he should hear “something” even if it’s not a sure yes or no by Friday (the day after his interview). And guess what folks. We still haven’t heard ANYTHING. Now I don’t want to jinx things or anything, but I REALLY had hoped we would know something by now. I’m still keeping my fingers crossed.
What would make the waiting easier, is if Sir Computer Extraordinaire and I hadn’t found the PERFECT place for us. Another couple (that we are friends with) found a place and let us know that there was still an opening right across the drive. We went and looked at it on Saturday and we just LOVED it. There’s plenty of room. It’s in the location we wanted. We would have neighbors we knew. (This alone would let us save money, considering how much we go visit them.) The pet fee isn’t outrageous. And it has both washer and dryer hookups and (you’ve guessed it) a dishwasher! I REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY (have I said “really” enough?) WANT THIS PLACE! I can see the two of us being VERY happy in this place. We can’t get it though unless Sir Computer Extraordinaire gets this job (or at least another one IMMEDIATELY.)
So that was my update about that.
Now I wanted to give you some product reviews.
Okay, I HATE shaving. (It’s amazing I don’t look like a gorilla.) So, I tried some Nair…it’s suppose to do the trick without the hastle. WRONG! First, when I put it on…IT HURT LIKE HELL! Burned like crazy. But I was willing to put up with a little pain. (No pain, no gain.) It got the hair off alright. It burned and hurt for HOURS after I took it off. It left my skin itchy and dry. So I let two days pass. HAIR WAS ALREADY BACK!!!! Not prickly, but more like furry. (If that makes any sense.) And last night when I scratched my leg… I STARTED BLEEDING! Now, one might ask, “How hard did you scratch?” I didn’t scratch very hard at all! Now on top of that it cost close to six bucks and the tube lasted for only ONE (yes I said ONE) application. I am not happy with this product. I don’t suggest anyone to buy it.
AWESOME PURCHASE!! I’m not a fan of plastic wrap either…dealing with it is a PAIN. So Sir Computer Extraordinaire and I picked some up bc we needed some plastic wrap. It is EASY to use (like when pulling enough out) and when you actually seal something it seals WONDERFULLY. I will never go back to regular plastic wrap ever again. This stuff ROCKS!!!!
